An old friend of mine once said to me that there’s someone for everyone and never has a truer word been said. It is a beautiful and optimistic way to think about relationships. Believing that there’s someone out there for everyone highlights the uniqueness of each person and the possibility of finding someone who genuinely appreciates and complements who they are.
Everyone has different traits, quirks, dreams, and values, and there’s often someone who resonates with those. Sometimes it just takes time and patience to meet the right person. It’s less about perfection and more about finding someone with whom you can grow, share moments, and build a life that feels right for both of you.
And often, the journey of discovering yourself and what you value is part of what leads to meeting that special person.
So many people think they’re an alpha male or female.
The truth is that they’re not.
The truth is also that even the most unlikely person is able to find a partner.
There is someone out there for everyone.
The main problem is that people give up too easily.
They don’t search for long enough.
Or they don’t always search in the right places.
They get upset if it doesn’t work out the first time.
